Another short post today to let you know about the release of Legal Briefs – a charity anthology to benefit LAMBDA Legal.
This is a really fantastic project and I hope you’ll consider picking up a copy – all proceeds go to LAMBDA Legal.
The Novel Approach was kind enough to host me today – pop on over there to read my musings about law school, equality, and my contribution to Legal Briefs.
I’ve been working on this project for a long time and I’m so excited that it’s just a couple weeks away from being in print.
I’ve gotten word that my story, Well Played, will be the first story in the collection. I’m absolutely tickled that the publisher has so much confidence in my story.
Well Played is one of the longest stories I’ve published, and it’s easily one of my favorites. I had a lot of flexibility about what to write – as long as I stayed within a musical theme – and so I got to really stretch my storytelling muscles.
The ebook should be available at the end of the month, with print copies following a week after. I’ll update you as soon as I have firm dates and buy links. I might even do some kind contest or giveaway for this book – please leave me a comment if you have an idea for an interesting contest!
News about another publication is coming soon – stay tuned!
Exciting news abounds! The Big Book of Bondage is now available – find it at Amazon, Powell’s, or your favorite book seller.
I also have good news for all you folks who’ve been asking about samples of my work – one of my stories has been published on the Oysters and Chocolate website, and you can read it for free! Go read The Only Real Girl on the Internet now!
While I’ve got your attention – just a bit of housekeeping – you’ve got until the end of the month to send in your Missed Connections stories, so get cracking and finish up!
Photo of me by Joseph Robertson – clearly I have a thing for cellos.
Remember my cello music teaser from a few months ago? I’m thrilled to announce my story, Well Played, is being published in Strummed, a music themed anthology by Sweetmeats Press.
Here’s a synopsis teaser:
Isabel has the opportunity of a lifetime and she knows it. She isn’t about to do anything to spoil her chance at this job, but behaving herself around Kurt, the head of the cello section, is proving to be difficult. Every time he looks at her she feels weak in the knees and loses the ability to speak coherently. Isabel hasn’t been this gone for anyone since her teenage years and she can’t believe it’s happening now – especially with the man who could make or break her career. But when she listens to him play her whole world narrows down to the notes he pulls from his instrument and all she can think about is having his deft hands play her.
Tentative release date is early February – I’ll share cover art and further details as soon as I have them!
Sorry for the long silence, I’ve been plugging away on things I can’t talk about just yet – but I promise there are exciting developments afoot!
This makes it particularly good timing for a bit of fantastic news! I’m thrilled to announce that two of my stories will be included in Alison Tyler‘s upcoming Sudden Sex collection for Cleis.
I am once again beside myself with happiness about the company I’m keeping in this book. Check out the line up!
Cover art to come soon.
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I will have a story in Cleis’ upcoming Big Book of Bondage, edited by Alison Tyler. I’m a big fan of hers, so to be in a collection that she’s editing is very exciting. I’m also honored to be sharing the pages of this book with so many of my favorite authors. It’s an impressive list and I’m honered to be included.

This one snuck up on me! The Boys Club, a Naughty Nights Press anthology, is now available!
In my contribution, Fanboys: Shane and Danny aren’t just fans, they’re super fans, and they want Eric Ashcroft to know it. Camping out where Eric Ashcroft is filming, the college boys wait for the perfect chance to meet him. And meet him they do – that’s when things take an unexpected turn.
Just between you and me, I’ll tell you that I even shocked myself a bit with this one. Believe me, you don’t want to miss it!

I am thrilled to announce that I will have a story included in the Storm Moon Press anthology “Like it or Not.”
From their website; “Be it forced seduction/dubious consent, non-violent intimidation, or pre-negotiated fantasy, there is something wickedly taboo about non-consensual sex, where consent is muddled. Like It or Not [will feature] M/M short stories that push the boundaries of consent without fully breaking them. The individuals on the receiving end of the non-con situation do in fact consent, in their own way.”
Stay tuned for more information about this project, such as publication date and cover art.
